RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively identify and establish new market connections.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • The main point of contact and key relationship holder for specified clients.
  • Apply cat model output in risk management decision making such as pricing and structuring.
  • Effectively harness resources in London and Mumbai for High quality data cleansing, analysis and reporting.
  • Production of presentations and deliver RFPs when required.
  • Collate data and extract market intelligence based on Client information.
  • Involvement in collecting and collating market intelligence for various lines of business.
  • Identify and research areas of interest would provide our brokers and clients a competitive advantage.
  • Conduct research on agreed subjects that may be of the general market nature or company-specific, and produce reports.
  • Work with internal development analysts to enhance existing products and identify opportunities to improve and innovate.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining personal technical and regulatory knowledge to ensure there is capability to support the manufacturing and maintenance of product.
  • Deliver appropriate, consulting solutions in accordance with agreed time-scales, budget and specifications.
  • Understanding the internal systems and processes and how these need to be configured and developed to support the efficient and effective development of new products for internal clients e.g. brokers.
  • Identify and resolve post live issues identified following project implementation.
  • Dealing with changing and conflicting priorities while supporting business development opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite.
  • Fluent in the operation of catastrophe modelling software including RMS, EQE, AIR.
  • Good grasp of mapping / spatial analysis software and methods.
  • Strong science, mathematical and analytical skills sets.
  • A relevant degree/postgraduate and/or operational, industry or professional qualifications desirable.
  • Provide commercial advice and solutions.
  • Build credibility with clients and colleagues.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively influence and persuade clients and colleagues.
  • Effectively manage resources in Mumbai on a project basis.
  • Questions and challenges to find ways around problems and establishes appropriate solutions.
