  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to identify, scope, and execute analytic efforts that answer business questions, solve business needs, and add business value.
  • Employ probability, statistics, economics, and finance principles and methods to measure and quantify complex risks and assess the potential financial consequences of those risks.
  • Collaborate with other analytics team members to review and provide recommendations on the analytics work being done, and be willing to seek feedback from other team members about your own work.
  • BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related discipline.
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as an actuary in the insurance industry.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related discipline.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of computational methods, statistical modeling and data mining methods and tools.
  • Experience quantifying and evaluating the risks associated with value-based contracts.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in programming languages.
  • Interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables.
