RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the successful completion of all annual & quarterly Solvency II regulatory reporting for the company Subgroup and solo legal entities.
  • Establish granular auditable processes for all reporting.
  • Formalize the reporting process with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Effectively collaborate with relevant functions to foster a team approach.
  • The monitoring of all risk related regulatory deliverables worldwide.
  • Support in risk related interactions with the regulator.
  • Support in the organization and preparation of the companies’ credit rating process.
  • Support the preparation of the Risk Report to the Board of Directors of all entities.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, preferably at Honours level, with experience ideally in an international environment or equivalent combination of work and education experience.
  • Professional qualification with audit/professional services background preferred.
  • Three plus years’ experience in Finance, Audit, Risk Management or Compliance, ideally in the insurance/ financial services.
  • Actuarial experience and backgroun welcome
  • Fluency in English and French required.
  • Solvency II / Basel II experience is preferable.
  • Very good user knowledge of Microsoft.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem solving, judgment and analytical abilities.
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work on numerous tasks with multiple departments simultaneously.
