  • Supporting the delivery of consulting projects.
  • Developing market offerings by taking innovative approaches to existing firm initiatives and other proof-of-concepts.
  • Supporting audit engagements spanning from life during our peak audit season.
  • Shows a commitment to learning about regulatory changes such as IFRS 17, MCT, LICAT, DCAT, ORSA, etc. and how we can help clients adapt to these changes.
  • Demonstrating an interest in improving current processes and building technical expertise in Analytics and Robotics Process Automation software.
  • Build delegation and leadership skills through leading various in-house initiatives and working with co-op students.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a leading University in the fields Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates commitment to taking SOA or CAS actuarial exams and becoming a credentialed actuary.
  • Prior experience with actuarial software or programming languages considered an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office.
  • Aptitude to synthesize quantitative analysis/concepts and effectively relay this information to audiences of varying backgrounds in an engaging manner.
  • Ability to build rapport within the practice and deliver high-quality work under time constraints.
  • Demonstrates strong written/verbal communication skills and an understanding on how to communicate to various audiences.
  • Shows a keen interest in the latest developments in the insurance industry and exhibits passion in driving innovation in the actuarial field.
  • Shows a commitment to the insurance/risk management/data analytics fields through relevant classes/project work, past employment, and/or case competitions.
  • Overseas working experience and speaking French/Spanish are a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally is a plus.
