  • Provide or, with the support of other subject matter experts, be actively involved in the delivery of advice to a wide range of institutional clients on all Defined Contribution aspects, including:
  • Plan design and benefit adequacy evaluation.
  • Selection of record keepers, and ongoing monitoring of overall Defined Contribution plan operations; review of vendor contracts.
  • Establishment of project plans for Defined Contribution plan implementations and management of timelines, deliverables and budgets.
  • Design of optimal investment structures, as well as selection and ongoing monitoring of investment managers and funds.
  • Fee competitiveness assessment.
  • Plan governance process development, implementation and on-going application.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and other legal support.
  • Preparation or review of member communication materials as needed to supplement the materials provided by record keepers.
  • Design, delivery and elaboration of reports on special project.
  • Build strong relationships with and manage all aspects of consulting relationships for assigned Defined Contribution clients.
  • Maintain marketplace visibility through public speaking engagements, participating in professional societies and publication or articles in appropriate trade journals.
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor junior-level staff.
  • Contribute to business development through direct client/prospect approach and by being involved in responding to requests for proposal for Defined Contribution services, participating in shortlist presentations and responding to requests and leads from colleagues in other lines of business.
  • Contribute to the expansion and ongoing maintenance of our Defined Contribution intellectual capital.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial science or other business-related area with strong quantitative and analytical course content.
  • Professional designation such as MBA, ASA or CFA Charter.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least three in a Defined Contribution environment, and at least 3 years of direct client facing experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
