  • Use, maintain and enhance the models and tools used in valuation and financial reporting.
  • Document procedures and processes used in valuation and financial reporting.
  • Research, gather and analyze data for experience studies and market surveys.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the Actuarial department.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Undergraduate university degree majoring in Actuarial Science
  • 2-5 years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Minimum of 2 Society of Actuaries exams and a commitment to achieve FCIA designation
  • Sound knowledge of basic actuarial concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer and programming skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
  • Experience in VBA programming. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to conduct detailed analysis of information to identify relationships and issues
