Reinsurance Organization
  • Risk reporting/assessment: Define, develop and maintain risk dashboards and assessment frameworks in cooperation with business, transverse functions within P&C and Legal Entity CROs. Contribute to the production of regular and ad-hoc risk reporting for P&C standard & specialty lines and large corporate risks; ensure timely assessment and monitoring thereof.
  • Risk culture: contribute to and foster the ongoing improvement of the company's ERM and related processes for identification, description, assessment and monitoring of risks.
  • Footprint & extreme scenarios: support and maintain oversight of extreme scenario framework and related activities including further development of framework, standards and methodology.
  • Emerging Risks: contribute as Non-Life division representative on emerging risk working group. Manage and maintain emerging risk inventory and assess respectively report selected risks to ER Committee.
  • SST /ORSA: Follow-up on group specific developments and regulatory capital requirements. Manage annual SST and ORSA process at legal entity level including definition and monitoring of overall planning and related activities in cooperation with internal group and divisional functions resp. stakeholders.
  • - Projects: participation in the company internal projects beyond team level on divisional and group risk related level.
  • University degree in business administration, economics or in risk management/insurance related studies.
  • At least 5-7 years+ of relevant work experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry or consultancy, preferably in an underwriting related position.
  • Strong P&C Re/Insurance background focus with understanding of P&C reinsurance concepts, risk management systems and frameworks, UW contracts and market trends.
  • Sound understanding of and familiarity with risk governance principles and regulatory requirements in general.
  • Excellent communication skills to establish internal and external reports, to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner and deal with various management levels up to Senior Executive Mgmt.
  • Reliability and self-motivation, willingness to learn and share new topics.
  • Independent, structured and analytical working style.
  • Ability to prioritize and to work on various and diverse tasks in parallel within tight deadlines.
  • Experienced in working in a global, multi-cultural environment across functions and locations.
  • Additional experience or certifications in insurance/risk management and/or project management is an advantage.
  • Proficient/fluent command in English is a must; additional fluency in either German or French desired.
