RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use appropriate and develop consistent modelling techniques to build models designed to solve business problems across the company.
  • Build strong relationship with our partners; collaborate with business leads to develop understanding of the models, engagement towards the analytic strategy and supporting change.
  • Utilize both new external and existing internal data sources to develop new insights for modelling.
  • Investigate and propose new external data sources.
  • Lead the development of new modeling techniques and procedures.
  • Learn and apply a wide variety of softwares and modelling techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the modelling process.
  • Initiate and drive the resolution of complex tasks.
  • Continuously deepen knowledge of insurance industry and practices across multiple disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 or more years of professional insurance experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s and PHD degree preferred.
  • Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer science.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent programming skills in different languages.
  • Demonstrated experience applying predictive modelling techniques such as Generalized Linear Models, Machine Learning Methods, Time Series Analysis, Text Mining, Optimization and Design of Experiments to inform business decisions.
