RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Researching and gathering information.
  • Reviewing and analyzing work products including plan data and financial statements.
  • Providing input to the development of solutions.
  • Creating and updating valuation programs and spreadsheet applications.
  • Assisting with report preparation and government filings.
  • Working with senior actuary and consultant staff to support their effective presentation of work product to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of two years undergraduate education or an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related discipline.
  • Completion of at least one actuarial exam is preferred and the intent to attain actuarial accreditation is required.
  • 0-3 years of retirement plan actuarial experience within a consulting and/or insurance company environment.
  • Relevant computer and software skills.
  • Task management skills.
  • Detail-orientation; organization and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively within a diverse group.
