RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead special projects for the Retirement Investment Committee and other plan governance bodies
  • Maintain and update investment policies for the company’s US 401(k) and DB Pension Plans
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc materials on the company’s US 401(k) and DB Pension Plans to support the Retirement Investment Committee’s fiduciary governance accountabilities.
  • Work closely with numerous internal partners and third-party firms to ensure all governance requirements and project deliverables are met.
  • Analyze and explain performance results across multiple asset classes and fund managers
  • Advise the Retirement Investment Committee of changes to regulatory requirements
  • Provide a wide spectrum of analytical and operational support as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Direct investment performance reporting experience at a consulting firm, investment management firm, or other pension fund.
  • CFA designation.
  • Solid understanding of investment process and institutional investment products.
  • Experience with selection and monitoring of investment managers
  • Experience with developing investment policies
  • Undergraduate or graduate university degree in a related discipline.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and quantitative analysis skills are essential.
  • Strong interest and experience in people management / coaching
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to recognize issues and to recommend changes to processes and approaches to improve efficiency.
  • Proven ability to meet multiple tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments for multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
