  • Providing thought leadership for collaborative, on-going development of key risk indicators that underpin top risks and risk appetite statements.
  • Leading the Comprehensive Identification of Assessment of Risk process, including preparation of annual risk assessments, analysis of results and reporting.
  • Strengthening and integrating stress testing programs to gain insights regarding risks and opportunities, and to inform the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment process.
  • Preparing risk reports for various stakeholders, including senior management, the Board of Directors, and The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI).
  • Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.
  • Have seven years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Have a post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
  • Having an Actuarial or Risk Management designation(s) would be an asset.
