Insurance Organization
  • Coordinating and conducting catastrophe modeling activities for multiple lines of business.
  • Prepare exposure data for analysis.
  • Model complex property risk exposures across using RMS and AIR's technology platforms.
  • Analyze changes in exposure and associated impact on modeled results.
  • Assist reinsurance purchase decision making via quantitative cost/risk analysis.
  • Develop and manage projects.
  • Responsible for defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Bachelors degree in technical/quantitative field.
  • 5+ years experience in a CAT modeling analyst role.
  • Familiar with catastrophe modeling using RMS and/or AIR models.
  • Familiar with insurance and reinsurance terminology and principles.
  • Strong analytical ability with an interest in stochastic simulations.
  • Very experienced with databases (e.g. SQL-Server) and interested in automation through programming (e.g. SQL, VBA).
  • Masters degree in technical/quantitative field.
