Reinsurance Broker
  • Perform required actuarial work in a highly professional manner.
  • Participate in R&D, and in the improvement and enhancement of existing tools.
  • Adhere to established team/personnel objectives as a reflection of company objectives.
  • Work within established controls, and work with team to develop and implement written procedures and training programs for the company.
  • Support team planning, and assist in new systems implementations and conversions.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or Business.
  • Actively pursuing or will actively pursue ACAS or FCAS.
  • Minimum of five years of industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees with good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with ability to meet deadlines, effectively document your work and delegate, as appropriate.
  • Forward thinker and planner; proactive and uses initiative to work through solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Adapts and responds well to change and pressure.
  • Intellectually curious - ability to seek information to clarify understanding of concepts, direction and detail on how to move objectives and opportunities forward.
  • Strong preference for programming background with experience in T-SQL and VBA for Excel and Access.
