  • Supports the development of product solutions and propositions, taking into account and balancing regulatory, business, distributor and customer needs, in adherence to internal approval requirements. This includes conducting market feasibility studies, soliciting product feedback and discussions with reinsurers.
  • Drives product implementation activities under purview of product development, works closely with and influences internal stakeholders & external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product launch. This includes preparation and/or review of product-related documentation, collaterals and sales tools, as well as performing user-acceptance testing.
  • Provides pre and post product launch support to address product related queries from internal stakeholders, distributors and customers, in a timely and effective manner; keeping in mind customer centricity.
  • Keeps abreast of market and regulatory developments, performs regular market & competitive analysis, provides support to monitor & review product relevance, and identifies business opportunities where they may exist.
  • Performs other duties which may be periodically assigned to meet other requirements and responsibilities of the department.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, actuarial science, mathematics, economics or accounting / finance-related qualifications.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Product Development in the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of life protection and ILP products, strong Participating Fund knowledge is an advantage.
  • Business oriented with a keen customer and distributor - centric mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Meticulous, detail-orient and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Adaptable and can deal with change and ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel VBA is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
