  • Lead a team of actuaries undertaking work for insurance companies including providing leadership regarding product development and quality of work output.
  • Provide leadership for both ongoing work and projects in relation to data management, rating manual development and fleet software tool delivery and enhancements, loss forecasting, accruals, self-insurance funds, ORSA, DCAT and cash flow analysis
  • Collect and organize data in support of the insurance company consulting business
  • Maintain effective relationships with staff members within the company's network
  • Maintain client relationships and participate in the building of new ones
  • Execute on client services needs both routine and unique.
  • Support the national practice leader with business development
  • Communicate with clients both internally and externally
  • Understand client’s needs by listening closely and cultivating trusting relationships with the client, colleagues and delivery of services that exceed client expectations.
  • Develop enhanced client engagement model that links to company’s corporate philosophy
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for the team by providing unmatched experiences and providing honest feedback to team members.
  • Support national practice leader on day to day management
  • Identify an applying firm and industry best practices, constantly looking for new and better ways to service clients.
  • Actively demonstrate company’s expertise in the marketplace
  • Produce excellent results by leveraging team resources with maximum efficiency

  • FCAS is preferable; minimum requirement is ACAS
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of @Risk would be valuable
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
