RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributing to research studies and macroprudential surveillance activities integral to the Authority’s macroprudential surveillance and financial stability objectives. These undertakings are normally associated with the Authority’s business plan commitments, the data gathering exercises of international bodies in which the Authority takes part and other initiatives driven by the Authority or external party.
  • Participating in research and macroprudential surveillance related forums, including international meetings and conferences, topical to projects undertaken.
  • Contributing to the research and macroprudential surveillance support given to cross-departmental projects.
  • Contributing to the processing and resolving of research and macroprudential surveillance related questions posed to the Authority by other regulatory agencies, international bodies or other external sources, and lending support to any other queries as requested by other business units;
  • Contributing to the dissemination of produced research and macroprudential surveillance knowledge to internal and external audiences.
  • Performing other related work and special projects associated with the Financial Stability Department’s remit as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business, research methods, and/or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of five years’ relevant post graduate experience in the financial services industry and/or working experience with a financial services regulator and/or research institution.
  • A demonstrated ability to synthesize, summarize and communicate information from a variety of sources along with the ability to manage projects to completion in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and oral).
