RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Appropriately analyzes, adds updates, and summarizes existing memorandum templates.
  • Locates and reconciles data from various source systems; ensures accuracy and recognizes adjustments needed for possible data anomalies.
  • Gathers information from different internal departments and complete reports and analysis as directed; incorporate feedback provided.
  • Assists with collecting data and responding to inquiries from state insurance departments, auditors, and functional areas.
  • Identifies system and data inefficiencies; provide recommendations to resolve.
  • Proactively works to build strong relationships with peers, manager, and other departments.
  • Communicates realistic deadlines and prioritizes projects.
  • Understands how to leverage knowledge and skills from team and other functional areas to accomplish goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 exams completed, pursuing path to Casualty Actuarial Society membership.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive responsibilities and related experience in actuarial role.
  • Advance knowledge of most recent version of Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, R or other statistical programming software preferred.
