RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and apply actuarial models to diverse client situations
  • Manage client projects
  • Assist in the development of Medicare Advantage and Part D bids
  • Assist in the training and management of staff
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage bid preparations/desk review required
  • ASA / recent FSA
  • Knowledge of all aspects of healthcare actuarial practice, including pricing, reserving, and forecasting
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong communication skills, including oral presentations and written reports
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Knowledge of database applications a plus (e.g. Access, SAS/SQL/VBA)
