RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The candidate will be responsible for completing and auditing loss reserve studies for reinsurance companies domiciled on the island.
  • The candidate will also manage a portfolio of independent advisory clients.
  • In addition, the candidate will be involved in special pricing, risk transfer and internal audit projects and be expected to have both excellent technical and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4-6 years of actuarial experience.
  • Experience in reserving or commercial lines pricing.
  • 4-5 CAS exams to new ACAS / FCAS designation.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, @Risk).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Desire to attain membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society (or other recognized society).
  • Ability to plan, organize, and complete detailed work in a team environment.
  • Availability to work overtime and meet tight deadlines.
